The Little Workshop- (Hands on style learning)
The little workshop is Leitchville Primary’s very own hands on learning style.
Each fortnight we work with one of our dedicated volunteers to provide a program to allow students to learn-by-doing.
It is a pedagogical approach that immerses students in practical experiences, fostering a deeper connection with the subject matter.
It encourages students to take an active role in their education and gives them the chance to interact with real-world materials, solve problems, conduct experiments, and participate in collaborative projects.
This active engagement cultivates critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
We are very excited to have it here at Leitchville Primary School, and to allow our school community to be involved in our special projects.
So far we have the creation of a work space, repairs and painting of our school fort, and new garden beds as current projects.
